GRIEF AND BEREAVEMENT
LIFE TRANSITIONS

Grief is one of the most destabilizing life transitions that most people will likely experience.  Grief is deeply personal, and I help clients explore their unique experience while also identifying meaningful steps toward healing. Using Solution-Focused Therapy, I guide clients in recognizing their strengths, building resilience, and creating practical, achievable goals that align with their values. Through ACT techniques, I help them develop psychological flexibility—learning to accept difficult emotions while taking purposeful action. 

During each life stage we encounter new stressors whether that involves a new city, a career change, relationships and dating, marriage, or parenthood.  How we learn to embrace these stressors can influence how we move through the world. Big life transitions can bring on feelings of anxiety and depression. Therapy can offer a space where you can process life transitions, identify feelings and confidently engage the skills that are most supportive in helping you through this transition.

GRIEF SUPPORT FOR PARENTS OF GRIEVING CHILDREN

Navigating grief and loss as an individual is difficult. Navigating grief and loss as a parent brings its own set of challenges. Parents that have lost a partner, co-parent or spouse are faced with the task of managing their grief and supporting their children's grief. After years of experience working with children who are grieving, I am able to offer support to widowed parents that are looking to process their own and better understand their children's grief so they feel empowered to best support their children. Therapy can be an educational tool for parents,as well as, an empathic ear. 

ANXIETY AND DEPRESSION

I help individuals struggling with anxiety and depression regain control, find emotional balance, and build a fulfilling life. Using a blend of Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Solution-Focused Therapy (SFT), mindfulness, and strengths-based techniques, I provide practical tools to navigate difficult emotions, break free from negative thought patterns, and take meaningful steps forward.
